Museum exhibits include an outstanding collection of American Indian artifacts from the United States, Canada, and South America with special focus on Maine's Abenaki Tribe. There is an impressive collection of over 600 early Maine Indian baskets and quill boxes.
The Museum gift store, which supports the Museum, has a large variety of quality, reasonably priced, genuine American Indian arts, crafts, and gifts. Many are hand made on the premises by Nowetah and her daughter Wahleyah. Shop for moccasins for the entire family, fancy dream catchers, leather goods, jewelry, spiritual items, rugs, baskets, pottery, toys, clothing, books and much more!
